TERMS AND CONDITIONS MITSUBISHI MOTORS DAKAR SERIES COMPETITION

The following terms and conditions apply to the DAKAR SERIES Mitsubishi Motors – Drive a Mitsubishi Lancer for two weeks. By participating in this competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. The Promoters of this competition are Mercedes-Benz South Africa (Pty) Ltd, herein represented by Mitsubishi Motors (the “Promoters”).
   
   
2. The competition starts on 6 January 2009 and ends on 31 January 2009.
    
3. To qualify for the competition you:
   
   3.1.  must have a valid South African ID document and a valid Driver License.
   3.2.  must be over 18 years of age.
   3.3.  must live within the Republic of South Africa.
   
   
4. The Promoters may refuse to award any prize to a participant if any irregularities or
   fraudulent activities by such participant is suspected.
   
   
5. The Promoter reserves the right to withhold the announcement of the winner of the competition.
   
   
6. The Promoter further reserves the right to withhold the awarding of the prize.
   
   
7. Employees, directors and agents of the Promoters, their immediate families, life partners,
   business partners and associates are not eligible to participate in this promotion.
   
   
8. All information relating to this competition which is published on any promotional material will form part of these terms and conditions of entry. In the event of any conflict between such promotional material and these terms and conditions, the terms and conditions shall prevail.
   
   
9. The Promoters’ decision on any aspect of the competition, including the allocation of the
    Mitsubishi vehicle will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
   
   
10. The Promoters reserve the right to cancel, terminate or alter this competition at any time,
    without notice and shall not be liable for any claims whatsoever arising out of such
    cancellation, termination or alteration. The Promoters further reserve the right to
    terminate this competition immediately and without notice in the event that the competition is
    held to be or becomes unlawful.
    
    
11. If the Promoters are required by any legislation or the Minister of Trade and Industry or
    the National Lotteries Board to alter any aspect of this competition or to terminate the
    competition as a result of changes in legislation, the Promoters will have the right to
    terminate this competition with immediate effect and without notice of such termination.
    In such event all participants hereby waive any rights which they may have against the
    Promoters and acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claim of any nature
    whatsoever against the Promoters, its agents, contractors and/or sponsors.
    
    
12. Any person who does not want to be included in the competition for any reason can
    contact the Promoters to be excluded: on 0861 113 194. The Promoters shall be entitled at their entire discretion to reject any entry for any reason whatsoever and will not be obliged to correspond with any person with regard to the competition.
    
    
13. The Promoters reserve the right to replace the offer with another offer of similar or lesser
    commercial value.
    
    
14. The Mitsubishi Lancer will be the only vehicle allocated to the competition winner.
    
    
15. The winner will collect the Mitsubishi Lancer from the Dealership that is nearest to them or the Promoter may deliver the vehicle to the winner.
    
    
16. The prize is not transferable.
    
    
17. Insurance is covered by Mercedes- Benz SA (Pty) Ltd, represented by Mitsubishi Motors, but any excess is applicable due to damage caused by driver negligence or non-compliance with legal regulations would be for the winner's account.
