A minor frontal redesign sees a grille and bumper restyle along with headlamps that are now equipped with LED daytime running lights, while other cosmetic enhancements include an upgrade from 17″ to 18″ alloy wheels, and a new spare-wheel cover. The headlamps have also been given an auto-dimming function that switches from high- to lowbeam by itself.

Mitsubishi South Africa has added several style enhancements to its Pajero range which, its claims, are the results of customers’ feedback. Mitsubishi Motors South Africa chief operating officer, Wynand Pretorius, said: “We know we have a winning formula with Pajero. It remains the epitome of off-road ability meeting urban comfort and practicality.

The iconic Pajero, which to this day still holds a record twelve wins (seven of them consecutive) at the infamous Dakar Rally, continues as a pukka 4×4 SUV with no compromise on off-road ability, passenger comfort and safety – famous for proven reliability, durability, longevity, performance and being the perfect partner for any adventure.

The concept is described as a “special package” that has a refined interior and exterior design that magnifies the Outlander PHEV’s unique driving experience.
